Job done, so who's next...?

Lawrenson, every day
Being a single-issue blog, it may be time to switch the attention to getting rid of the the most useless of the heads-on-sticks that are the MotD pundits; namely Hansen & Lawrenson.

It looks a bit like I'm singling out fans of LFC here; but really, what does their analysis bring to the program? Or anything for that matter? Lawrenson slouches on the settee like an old tramp in a drop-in centre, looking like his dog has just passed away, whilst Hansen pontificates like Spectrum's Captain Black following a full frontal lobotomy and facial paralysis.

I wouldn't mind if they generally got things right; they don't. And to make matters worse, we're ALL contributing to paying them (what are quoted as) outlandish wages.

I'm sorry BBC sport, they are yesterday's men. Time to move on. Pat Nevin is a great candidate to take over the surly Hansen role, but letting Lee Dixon leave was verging on criminal. There has to be better out there, surely?

Let's shake things up for FFS.
Pat Nevin on a Johnny Marr day
Hansen on a GOOD day

Colin Murray - dumbing down MotD2 at the licence payer's expense...

After months of putting up with his inane, pointless bollocks and Radio-One-sub-Chris-Moyles schoolboy humour, I've finally had enough of Colin Murray on MotD2. Sure, Adrian Chiles was 'a bit boring', but he knew his stuff, he kept the analysis interesting and he didn't try to turn a post-watershed TV program into something only a 13 year old could truly appreciate.
Fair enough, Murray has his place - but it isn't MotD2. I have yet to hear anyone say a good word about his stewardship, so it's time for football fans across the nation to be heard -  LET'S GET THIS CLOWN REPLACED.
